  • What is SHE?

    This was change project under the AICTE - UKIERI scheme which later gained momentum with the dedicated efforts under HR Cell of GCEK.

    • To promote diverse opportunities to develop technical capabilities and talents among female students.
    • To develop student leaders who will be the torch bearers of the second phase.
    • To initiate a move for women empowerment in GCE Kannur.

  • To encourage women engineers to take up leadership roles and to promote greater enrollment of girls in engineering.

    • Eventhough the participation of women in undergraduate levels is satisfactory, their representation in higher positions of workforce isn't.
    • Here's the NEED for the right mentorship and relatable models

  • It aims to guide girls with exposure, mentorship and experience required to face the career demands of a workforce that has only 38% women in leadership positions.

    • All you need is to show interest and be willing to be part of this ever growing community.
