As a part of reaching out SHE's vision and mission to all the other Government Engineering Colleges And Government Polytechnic colleges,
state level inauguration of the project was conducted at
GCE Kannur under the auspices of Directorate of Technical Education.
We aim to expand SHE to all the other 9 Government Engineering Colleges and
about 51 Government Polytechnics and thus
to build a community of empowered women engineers and to further move forward with increased energy. With the
strong support of
Government of Kerala SHE can accelerate it's activities and launch more projects wide across Kerala.
Let' s wait for the growth of SHE as a large project by including women engineers all over India.
The program started with the welcome address by Dr. Byjubai T. P, Director of Technical Education
(In-charge),
Government of Kerala.
The program was presided over by Shri. M. V. Govindan Master, MLA, Taliparamba Constituency.
The inauguration of the State Level Launch of SHE was done by Dr. R. Bindu, Hon. Minister of Higher
Education and Social Justice.
She also highlighted the importance of building a community of empowered women engineers and to further
move forward with increased energy.
Shri. M. Vijin, MLA, Kalliasseri, Smt. P. P. Divya, Kannur District Panchayat President, and Shri. P.
Mukundan, Chairman,
Anthoor Municipality were the special guests of the event. The annual report was presented by Dr.
Vandana Sreedharan, State Level Coordinator, SHE GCEK.
The felicitation speech was delivered by Smt. Nivya T. K, Women Engineers Connect Member and Shri.
Damodaran M. E, PTA President, GCE Kannur.
Dr. V. O. Rejini, Principal, GCEK delivered the vote of thanks for the event.
The State Level Launch was conducted inorder to expand SHE to all the other 9 Government Engineering Colleges and about 51 Government Polytechnics. With the strong support of the Government of Kerala, SHE can accelerate its activities and launch more projects wide across Kerala. The event was a great success.
